we would like to announce some dates of our organization to the users. Therefore the question: Is there a way to import calendar events into the Totara calendar?

Hi Markus
You can import content from another calendar with a public calendar URL or importing a ics file
If you go to your external Calendar settings and look for these options
For example in Gmail they are under Settings > Import export > settings for my calendars > integrate calendar
Go into Totara calendar and select Manage subscriptions and add the URL or ics file
