I currently have a random quiz with 5 questions, I wish to increase the random quiz questions to 10.
However, I have the following message.
What is the best way to change this so I have 10 random questions available without affecting completion settings?
I am assuming I would need to create a brand new quiz for the course. Any other options?

The other choice is to delete all of the attempts so you can add the extra questions in . The users who have attempted the quiz would need to redo the quiz or you could manually change the grade of the quiz to an equivalent percentage from the old attempt.
This would have the advantage that the grade book would be consistent- if you copy the quiz and add questions and hide the old quiz 2 grades would show in the gradebook so might want to change the grade calculation or change the weighting of the old quiz to 0

Thanks, that option will not work as some quizzes have over 1000 attempts. Back to plan A
