Hi Andrew,

I have good news - this feature is currently in development! We're adding audiences as a manual rating method for competencies, to be included in version 20. This means you'll be able to add the group os senior employees to an audience, that is then assigned as raters for each of your specified competencies.

They'll have the same rating experience as managers (use the 'rate others competencies' link found on the user profile page, or set it as a primary navigation link), meaning they'll choose the person to rate and then the relevant competency.

If you have any questions about this please reach out, I'm happy to help!

Cheers,

Ashley (Product Manager)

Ashley,

Thank you so much for your prompt response. This si very exciting news!

I don't suppose you know of any ways we can work within the confines of the current version (v18) to allow multiple people to rate competencies?

You can use performance activities to allow others to rate competencies, but at this time it is a bit of a convoluted process.

First, make sure that performance activities are included in the achievement path for the competencies.

Then, create a performance activity that includes a competency review element. You'll have to include a role such as mentor, reviewer, or peer to act as the competency reviewer for the subject, and configure who can choose the competencies.

When the activity is assigned to the subject, the subject (or manager) will pick the reviewers to complete the competency rating, then the selecting participant above will select the competencies for review.

A less ideal workaround would be to assign a shared appraiser login to your group of raters, but I believe that diminishes compliance.

Hope this helps!
