Hi all

Is there a way to set up a course where learners complete the first activity, in this case a scorm package, and then when they close out of that window the next activity automatically opens, say a survey?

Hi Simon

I can't think of a way to launch after completing a SCORM activity.

It is possible to have conditional access an activity based on conditions in another activity http://help.totaralms.com/Restrict_Access.htm this doesn't automatically launch the activity but makes the activity visible.

Another alternative is to use a lesson with a pathway  depending on answers to questions - http://help.totaralms.com/Lesson.htm this doesn't allow inserting of SCORMs though

The other possibility is to include the survey or other activities as part of the SCORM so the SCORM controls the pathway.

regards

Craig

Hi Craig

Thanks for the reply.  We've used the first option, however roughly 30-40% of learners miss the survey and then complain they don't have a completion, even though we have text there in big bold red font saying they have to do the survey to complete the course.

The Scorm builder we're using at the moment doesn't report individual question responses back to the LMS, so that doesn't work either, although it is our ideal solution.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Hi Simon

Have you got the course completion block in the course or selected to show course progress on Front Page . This may make it more visible to learners that they haven't completed the course .
