Hi,

In both the Certification Overview and Program Overview report sources, you are able to select the user's organisation and position as columns, but you're not able to filter on those same columns. Is there a reason for this or has it just been missed off? I'm aware that there are alternative report sources that allow filtering by organisation and position, but I would like to avoid having to delete existing reports (some of which will have a lot of direct links to) and creating new ones with alternative report sources.

It looks like some more filters including organisation have been added in Evergreen TL-8552

Thanks, doesn't look like it covers all of the fields which you get in other reports but it's hard to say. Is there a possibility of standardising (so for example all report sources where user details can be included have a standard set of columns and filters)? Don't know if that's down to the design of report sources or would just require a QA process to go through and check all sources have been standardised, but it would be appreciated. Would also *really* be appreciated if this wasn't just limited to Evergreen because we aren't likely to upgrade for a while, but I recognise that this sort of exercise wouldn't usually be done on existing stable releases.

Hi Dan

The standardising of columns in reports should be already available as there are already functions to add user columns and filters to report sources that have a user, so when we add a user column, it will be available in all sources that use that function (which should be all that include a user).

I will see if we can make an exception to the policy of not back porting new features as in this case this is a report.

Sorry we need to focus our R&D efforts on new features rather than backporting.  Can you ask your partner if they will backport this for you?

Would our partner just be fixing the existing report source by adding columns or actually backporting the functionality to add user columns to report sources in a uniform way? Just want to get an idea of whether it's a quick job (adjusting the setup of the report sources to include the additional columns) or a longer one (backporting functions from newer version of Totara where the problem has been fixed)?
