Conference room conundrum

We have about 400 rooms that we can book in our system. Some of them have the interesting feature to be modular. So a large room can be split into 3 or 4 rooms. (see image) because of this we have 2 options of entering the rooms. The walls are collapsable so there are a total of 6 configurations.

  1. one room
    1. no chance of overbooking but someone who needs only one section may take it and keep the other rooms from being booked.

  2. 6 rooms
    1. a chance of overbooking because of the combination overlaps.

Is there a tool (plugin) that can apply logic to a set of rooms to say "if room A is booked then B and C are available" or "if ABC is booked then none are available"

Hi Nate, we have an existing feature request that may be useful in your scenario. Please can you add your example to that thread. The more context we get for enhancements, the better we're able to design the right solution when features get prioritised for development.

I think an improvement in that area could also do with hiding some of the complexity of the rooms needed to support the event from learners while still making it clear to admins (ie learners don't need to know that you're using rooms A+B+C to run the event, just that they need to turn up to Room A to attend some training.)
