Two questions

hi,

Suppose that there are 20000 students and 100 teachers in a course. How teachers find their own students easyly when they are correcting homework? How to achieve such demand in the system?

What is the difference between Cohorts in the system and groups in the curriculum?Could  Cohorts  be used not only in manage programs but also in course in future versions?

Group Totara

Hi Jiang

It is possible to create groups in a course and have the groups separate so students from different groups can't see each other.  However the teacher will be able to see every group members.

If this is not required then an alternative is to copy the course and setup each teacher/student in its own course to make it easier to manage.

Cohorts are system wide groups - these can be used to enrol students in more than one course and in the future (and currently) they will be used to manage enrolments in courses/programs.
