Hi

Have you ever set Moodle / Totara with Memchached? Does it support it at all? We have a prospect who would like to increase performance and are looking at implementing Memcached in their configuration and asked whether Totara supports it.

This has been the 2nd time we have been asked such question and could not finf too much about it, Moodle forums did not have any deatailed explenation whether it is possible to achieve and how,

I haven't used it myself, but there are a couple of memcache options in the settings (under server > performance) so it does look like moodle has some underlying support there.

There's a few mentions of it on this page:

but like you said, nothing particularly helpful.
