Bulk enrollment of users in a course with e-mail notification.

Hello again,

I've spent 2 days looking for a solution to this but am unable to sort anything out.

We have about 400 users that need to be enrolled in a single course and also be notified by e-mail that they have been enrolled.

Keep in mind we are on Totarta 1.1 still.

As far as I can tell the easiest way to enroll these users is via changes using "upload users" and a .csv file.

The issue is that enrolling via .csv only allows me to put them in an individual course (not a program or a cohort) which means the users will not be notified they have been enrolled in anything.

Is there ANY solution to this outside of manually adding 400+ people to a cohort/program?

Cheers,

Garrett

Hi Garrett

It is possible to send messages to selected praticipants in a course  by going to Course admin >  Participants (part of People block) of the course and selecting the people you want to send the message to and then selecting Add/send message.

This will bring up a message editor where you can type in the content required,

regards

Craig
