We are having a few issues with our iCal and Calendars.
We are a global business and time zones are very important to us to ensure this is correct.
The issues we are experiencing are as follows:
- Users are booked on a session on for example Thursday and see it in their Outlook on Friday
Or
- Colleagues are booked on a session for 4.00 pm and see it at 5.00 pm in their Outlook!!!
We believe this to be a core code issue within Totara. Our IT Team has investigated the problem and can see distinct differences in the Totara appointment vs. a normal outlook. The GMT part is missing and therefore the appointment is not making the necessary time change.
Kineo have said this is not a 'bug' that they are able to assist us with and in this case they believe it to be a Outlook issue and should therefore be investigated locally.
We have investigated further and believe this is a Totara issue.
Has anyone else had this problem or can any please help us rectify this.
