Hi Darren

I think you are right the time allowance for calculating exceptions does add a week for more details see.

https://totara.community/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=16928#p6109

The calculation adds up the maximum time allowance from each courseset to get a total maximum time, then adds one week to that.

Hi Darren

Yes it is better to err on the generous side and give 12 weeks to prevent exceptions.

One thing you might consider is to use the first login date in the completion criteria instead of a custom field for start date. This may not work depending on  whether the first login is a good measure of when someone needs to start on your program.

Hi Darren

It would be good to have an option of account created for audiences.

However if you are using Totara sync you could include the customfield value for the startdate in the sync.

You could also use the custom profile field using bulk upload with a csv file http://help.totaralms.com/add_user.htm#Bulk_Upload_of_Users
