Changing the default names of activity modules

Hello Totara Community,

Most of the default names for activity modules do really resonate with our audience.

For example - We are using a Face-to-Face sessions to manage Webinars (attendance, registration etc.) Also the term scorm package which displays on the "My Learning Page" for a learner can be distracting and confusing.

SCORM Package on My Learning

Our Question - Is there a way we can change the default names of Activity modules to somethin we desire?

"Face to Face" to something like "Webinar Sessions" or "Webinars"

and SCORM Module to something like "Interactive Lessons" or "Interactive Quiz"

Hi Syed,

You can update activity names in the Language pack. Go to Site Administration > Language > Language Customization choose your language pack and you'll be able to search the PHP files for strings like face-to-face that you can then update.
