Another question: when somebody signs up for a face to face session the user does not receive a confirmation e-mail. Do you know if we have that option and if the text can be customised?

Hi Federica,
The emails should be going out by default, check under (f2f) Settings>Facetoface administration>notifications
If you look under Site admin>plugins>Face-to-face>Notification templates you can edit the text there.
