Quiz – Multiple choice (multiple answers allowed)

Question setup scenario:

  • Multiple choice (multiple answers allowed)
  • 4 possible answers (learner is required to tick all 4 answers to be correct)
  • Each answer = Score 25% (total 100% if all 4 are selected)

Issue: If the learner selects 2 of the 4 answers (incorrect) they are marked as Partially Correct however they receive a score of 1/1? (this should be 0/1)

Does anybody know how to resolve this issue? I have tried deleting and re-completing the question with the same result.

Thanks :)

Hi Renee,

Go to your quiz settings and check the "Decimal places in grades" option. It's probably set to 0 right now, you'll need to bump it up to 2. Totara is rounding the number of points up, but when you show 2 decimal places it should properly display that .50.

Thanks!
