Accessing the Rubric

Hi,

I'm having a whale of a time accessing the Rubric. I've looked through the information here (http://help.totaralms.com/Rubrics.htm) and here (http://help.totaralms.com/Advanced_Grading_Method.htm) to see where I can access the rubric, but I'm not having much success.

So my questions are:

1. Is the rubric at the Course level?

2. Can the rubric be at the Course Category level?

3. How do I access the rubric?

Thanks!

Hi Steve

When you add an assignment (not 2,2) there is a drop-down with "simple direct grading, marking guide, rubric).  If you Save and display you get the rubric screen (design from scratch or use template).

If you have already added an assignment with the rubric option selected, when you edit the assignment settings a menu item appears in the menu - advanced grading which will take you to the same rubric screen.

Templates are system wide once created I think.

Hi Richard,

Much thanks for the quick reply. I have found the Rubric.

So as I see it, that the Assignment and Workshop activities can have a Rubric that applies to each of them.

Is there a way to aggregate grading across multiple activities - say: an Assignment and a Quiz?

Thanks again!

Hi Steve

You would do that in the gradebook more than the rubric I'm thinking.  But the short answer is not afaik.
