When you setup your EO Certification you can then assign that to users, organisation, audiences etc in the Assignments tab.
When doing this you can "set completion" options such as "With 3 months of" with several options for First login, profile field date etc. This will then appear in the Certification Program as the due date.
I believe you can also then set messages to be sent when the program becomes overdue selecting "PROGRAM OVERDUE MESSAGE" from the message tab, though I have yet to test that one myself.

Hi Liz
Skip step 3 and go to step 4 - creating a certification will create a program.
On the certification, add the EO class/course as a course set to the certification and re-certification (rather than adding a program)
Then set the completion as Richard suggested.

Hello Liz,
It would be under the Assignments Tab, as attached. Once you add eaither an audience, organisation or indvidual you get the option next to each to "set completion" details that opens in a pop up (right of attached image), this allows you to set them diffrently for each assignment.
