When viewing a resource in a pop-up, when the window is closed it does not automatically update the activity as completed. It would be good to automatically update the activity completion status to complete when the pop-up window is closed.

Hi, we have similar issues. We thought it was browser related as for some browsers it did seem to work. When our workplace incrementally updated IE to 9 then 11, it seemed to cause this issue. Does this help?

Just an update to let you all know that this feature request (tracked under request ID TL-8324) has been deemed medium priority and is not currently planned for development by Totara core.
As normal, if you wish to pursue this functionality further your options are:
- custom development - If you are considering contributing the completed customisation back to Totara core, please refer to our guide to contributing code to Totara LMS here and contact Simon Coggins, our Chief Technology Officer.
OR
- provide funding for development by Totara core - If you are considering providing funding for development by Totara core, please contact your Totara Channel Partner Manager to discuss further.

Has there been any consideration in bumping this priority now? This has been medium priority for many years. Implementing this would take away a lot of end user confusion and frustration.

Hi there,
This issue has been picked up by all the participants in our UAT...
I have to write instructions to "refresh" browser to see the 
which is clunky.
It would be great if this could be bumped up the priority.
We are just about the launch our LMS and I have to write this everywhere so people don't get confused.
