Hello Totara community
we are looking for a language filter that translates to hindi or urdu and Korean. I have already looked in the moodle plugins but I havent found anything. I was going to ask over in github but thought to try here first. Anyone? Kind of surprised on the lack of hindi or urdu as there is a large tech community there...

I think you are meaning whether there are Language packs for these languages - there aren't for these languages yet see https://download.totaralms.com/lang/T9/ for current language packs.
There is a tool (AMOS) used to translate and create language pack - if you are interested in translating and contributing a language pack then please contact meredith.henson@totaralearning.com to discuss the process.
