In setting up an appraisal, I receive an error when activating the appraisal if more than one stage has the same due date. Is there a setting that can be changed to allow multiple stages to have the same due date?

There isn't a setting to prevent this message coming up when the complete by date for different stages are the same.
You will need to either combine the stages or make the later stage complete by date a later date. This won't prevent you from completing two stages on the same date as it is the latest date that the stage can be completed.
