Dear team,

I have a quick question regarding the site administrator email address.

When a new tenant is created, the system automatically generates an invalid gmail address for the default admin. Meanwhile we have already added another user as the administrator with email address of abc@abc.com (for instance). Is it possible to set the default admin’s main address also as abc@abc.com?

I’m asking as I can’t replace the default email address with another manually added admin’s email address (I changed the setting to allow duplicate email but still doesn’t work). However, I checked one of the tenant site we set up last year, it turned out that they could use one same email address for two admin.

Hi Qingrou

It is possible to allow accounts to have the same email under 

Site admin > Plugins >Authentication > Manage authentication

Allow accounts with the same email

Note the warning This may result in security or privacy issues, for example with the password change confirmation email.
