Hi Andrea,

The HR Import tool has been designed to provide a great deal of flexibility on the information it can process and the source of that information.  This means there isn't really a check list of requirements of your HRIS, it simply needs to be able to either export your user, job assignment, position, organisation and/or competency data in csv format, or be configured to make that information available in a read only database format for Totara to 'collect'.  

The Help documentation on data sources offers some further detail on these formats and the mandatory fields Totara requires in the data file/export.
