Linking instructors to their courses
by Mayeso Afolayan - Thursday, 6 February 2020, 6:15 AM

Recently, I was approached by one of our instructors and was asked if their was any way she could receive notifications when her attendees canceled. Is there a way to link instructors to their respective course shells so they can receive notifications regarding the status of their attendees? Thanks for your help.

This is an excellent question.  Our instructors have the same question.  What User role(s) must Instructors have to view student enrollments and cancellations?  Thanks for posting this question.

Hi Robert

The default roles for Editing Trainers and Trainers should be able to see the cancellations tab the permission that needs to be allowed is view cancellations.

To view attendees they would need the View seminar activities and events and possibly Add attendees permissions

Hi Mayeso

The cancellation notifications get sent to the user and their manager.

There is a third-party email addresses that can be added and this address will receive all the active notification messages that the manager would receive.

If you add the email address of the trainer to the third party email address then this should work.
