Completion question - Same course in multiple places

Hi,

We've had the same SCORM activity put on three related courses pages rather than on one page and then linked to from the others.

This has caused confusion with our reporting as it is the same activity.

Is there a way to combine the completion history from the other activities into a single SCORM activity so we can remove it from the other ones and replace it with links to the single activity?

thanks,

Larry

Any ideas?

I don't fancy moving all the completion records manaully.

Hi Larry

I had a look at this and can't see how you can combine the activity completion records from different activity instances.

It is possible to backup an activity with user data and restore the SCORM activity into another course. There is no option to merge this into an existing SCORM activity and hide the restored SCORM so this can't be attempted.

What you could do is to go to Course admin > Reports > Course completion and manually award RPL for the existing SCORM if the restored SCORM shows as completed.

This would be reasonably fast to tick the relevant columns.
