In case you didn’t spot the exciting news, last week we launched Totara Engage on the Community! You can now join workspaces and create, curate and share your own resources with the Community.
Introducing the weekly Community poll
In Totara Engage you can now use surveys to get feedback from your colleagues around a particular topic. Every week in the Community we’ll create a new poll which we’d love to get your feedback on. This week, we’re asking the question ‘When offices reopen, how are you planning to work?’ Give us your feedback in the poll and we’ll share the results with you next week.
See what’s new - Join a workspace
Workspaces are a place
to ask questions, share your ideas and even upload resources. There are six
workspaces now available, focused on the following topics
- Multitenancy
- Reporting
- Personalisation
- Supporting remote working
- Workspaces
- Talent experience trends, reports and analysis
Come and join a workspace and start talking to your peers or get expert advice on your Totara products. If you’d like to add a new workspace, send your suggestions to us at community@totaralearning.com.
You can learn more about workspaces in the Academy course on Workspaces in Totara Engage or download a guide on workspaces. Share your thoughts about the new feature in the Workspaces workspace!
Create, curate and share resources
Have you seen the new menu items now available in the Community? Under the new Collaborate option, you’ll see Your library. This is your personal Community library, visible just to you! Add resources and view resources that have been shared with you by other Community users.
Build a new playlist
You can now also create, share and save playlists of resources. Why not add resources you use to improve on the job and share them with others in the Community?
If you’re thinking about using playlists and resources on your own Totara site, take a look at the Academy course on Playlists and resources in Totara Engage.

New ebook - How to engage an isolated and remote workforce with
collaborative learning
As a direct result of the pandemic more of us are working
remotely than ever before. This creates new challenges for both employees and
managers. Brandon Hall Group’s research finds that
employees feeling less connected is one of the top five reasons for productivity
loss among remote workers! If companies want learning to engage people and
drive results, they have to use the tools that enable collaboration to thrive.
Download the new ebook to learn about:
- The role of collaborative learning in remote work
- Collaboration in content creation and curation
- Strategies for boosting and sustaining collaboration
- Examples of collaborative learning in action
If you’re thinking about how to support a remote workforce, join the conversation in our remote working workspace too.
