Switching Positions to 'HR Import' after creation

Hi all

Someone has painstakingly entered about 500 Positions into our system by hand, but this means they are not set as 'HR Import'. Is there a way to update them in bulk please?

Thanks for the reply, but the manual creation of the positions isn't the issue really. They've been created without activating 'HR Import' so as such I don't seem to be able to update them by CSV import. New Positions that I have on the CSV file I'm using can, but the existing ones seem unchanged.

It looks like I'm going to have to go into each one individually and select 'HR Import', so that I can affect them by CSV Import.

Hi Paul

If you go into Sire admin > Positions select 'Export items from all frameworks' >CSV

The export file will contain all items in a content structure that is suitable for use in HR Import.

Just to give you a bit more detail. The 500 Positions are already there in the system without 'HR Import' selected. I have tried uploading a CSV to move the current 500 into parents based on levels, but because they haven't got 'HR Import' selected this hasn't worked. I am after a method by which 'HR Import' can be switched on in bulk, when the Positions don't have it switched on.

Thanks for clarifying that its the position for a job assignment that needs changing rather than just the position hierarchy.

There is an existing feature request for this TL-19483 that you can add your support to - I will link this to the ticket and see if this can be progressed.
