Hi everyone.
I was wondering is there is a way to mass assign tags to courses, i have a catalogue of about 200+ courses that didn't had any tags, and i would like to introduce tag to the catalogue but would like to avoid having to update the 200+ courses we have to add tags.
would you know a way to do so ?
We are on version 17.

You can bulk amend courses via the course upload process documented here https://totara.help/18/docs/upload-multiple-courses - You create a csv file https://totara.help/18/docs/creating-course-upload-files and add the tags to a column.
I recommend creating a report using the course reporting source, add and rename all the columns required for the CSV file, then add the tags at the end. Test this first, with a couple of dummy courses, to make sure you are getting the result that you want, especially as it can be a bit of a risk doing it this way
