Totara 2.7.7
Hi,
I want to be able to provide a link in an Appraisal message that will take the recipient to the specifc appraisal to be viewed in the role they need to view it in. For example, a manager receives a message to say a user has passed a particular stage of the appraisal - and that they need to review the candidates work to date.
I have been able to embed a link in the email that opens the "As Manager" appraisal tab using the following format
- <a href="http://sitename.com/totara/appraisal/myappraisal.php?role=2>managers view generic</a>
or to a specific users (49 here) appraisal using:
- <a href="http://sitename.com/totara/appraisal/myappraisal.php?role=2&subjectid=49&appraisalid=304">specific user appraisals as manager</a>
but I have found no way of pointing to a specific appraisal that may have multiple users assigned. Leaving out the subjected element results in a "Exception - You do not have the capabilities required to access this appraisal" message.
Does anyone know of a way this can be achieved? Having a link embedded in the email would help managers know which appraisal is being referred to.
I have also looked at the Appraisal report sources but they do not include hyperlinks to an appraisal - just the appraisal name. A column that links to the appraisal would be a useful addition to the Appraisal status and Appraisal detail report sources.
Cheers
Maurice
