Hi,

We are having a couple of issues with text formatting of session email notifications.

Issue 1: Booking Notification email

When the email is received, we are experiencing some rogue exclamation marks in the text. They are not visible in the editor, nor in the HTML. I've tried reformatting but the '!'s keep appearing - sometimes in different places within the text.


Issue 2: iCal text

The text sent out in the iCal appointment seems to vary across different computers - some are received as plain text, others as formatted text which includes fonts styles not visible in the editor or HTML.

Additionally, URLs provided in the text are duplicated at the bottom of the email as footnotes. Email addresses are not though, and remain in the body of the text. The duplication of links are causing confusion with our users.


Any suggestions on resolving these issues?

Hi Juaita,

As far as I can see these issues aren't really Totara specific, but I suspect the '!" issue is related to line length.
