Hi All,
We are on version Version 2.2.19
We have recently created a programme (this is the first one we have tried) and added just the one course to this.
When I enter the text into the enrolment Message or Completed message, we are unable to edit the font, colour etc. and also it appears the message will not support Hindi characters.
Is this the same for everyone and will this be looked into, in the future?

Sorry for the delay!
Program messages are simple text fields and not text editors. In such fields you cannot edit font, colour, and other text settings. However, I tried Hindi characters and everything worked fine for me. Can you please clarify what do you mean by Hindi characters are not supported?

Thank you for your reply, are there any plans to make these editable in the future?
When I tried to insert Hindi text it would not format this correctly or display it in the message, I tried to copy and paste some text and the English, French, Polish, Chinese, Japanese etc. all copied over correctly but the Hindi charaters did not.

Best to try this on the sandpit site rather than demo.
In the sandpit site https://sandpit.totaralms.com you can login using admin permissions and test. The demo site is really just to view some sample courses.

The sandpit database is UFT8 encoded, if yours is not then it could be causing the problem. Can you check?

Just to clarify, the database encoding should be UTF-8 (not UFT8), as described in the INSTALL.txt document that's included with the code.

I was successful in copying the follow text below into the ENROLMENT MESSAGE message text box on https://sandpit.totaralms.com/totara/program/edit_messages.php?id=4 , and the corresponding email arrived looking correct, also (SEE ATTACHED).
You are now enrolled on program %programfullname%. For Hindi, Tamil, Marathi!
