Hi

When a learner has completed a course outside of a program, it appears that the system can see that the course is complete, but it does not appear to be able to use the course completion to unlock course sets? Is this a bug?

In the Screenshot the user completed the Level 1 fast track course via self enrolment. The certification launch page can see it is complete but it is not able to unlock the level 2 course - any ideas?

Hi Nikki,

This might be useful: https://totara.community/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=17766#p14776

Can you send screenshots of settings - that is the critera needed to make second course available.

cheers,

George.

Hi George

The settings are in the screen shot. The learner needs to complete either course set one or course two THEN they complete course set 3.

I don't understand what other settings you are referring to.

Sorry Nikki!

I meant the Content settings in the certification - I owe you a biscuit!

Hi George

Still not 100% sure what you are asking for. The original learning path is:

  • The learner must complete either Level 1 or Level 1 Fast Track
  • And then Complete Level 2

There are no time limits on any of the requirements.

After 1 year the learner needs to redo Level 2.

Does that answer your question?

Hi Nikki,

This appears to clearly be a bug - Ive filed a report, hopefully we will get some movement on it quickly.

George.

Hi,

I've a similar issue but only concerns the completion status of a program. We have a program and two courses need to be completed before the user can progress to the next section.

Only one course shows a completed status on the program, yet both courses have been completed; the other shows not yet started. When I review the completion report of the one causing the issue (telephony) the activities required have been completed. Please see screen shots attached. I have manually run the web cron a number of times thinking this may be the issue. Please help.

Hi Sonia,

I cant recreate this, but I think its a bug, can you please submit a ticket and attach screenshots of the course completion settings - are the activities SCORMs? If they are could you forward?

thanks,

George.
